Inclusive Learning
School Leaver / 16 - 18 yr Old Vocational CoursesIf you're a young person keen on advancing your visual and creative arts skills, this Inclusive Learning course would be great for you. It covers a wide range of content and provides support tailored to diverse needs and learning styles.
You'll have the opportunity to engage in individual projects involving 2D and 3D design, ceramics, printmaking, painting, drawing, and textiles. Plus, there are additional sessions available to aid in your career development, teamwork skills, and work ventures.
Access to specialist studios once a week combined with theory-based sessions complete the course. Class sizes are small with support available as appropriate.
Whilst there are no formal entry requirements, you are expected to show willingness to learn, participate in and develop skills in a college environment. In addition, you mush show an artistic ability suited to the requirements of the course.

Though this course is free for those aged 16-18, there may be additional costs related to the programme, such as additional equipment and uniform, educational trips and work placement costs. Full details will be sent to applicants before enrolment.

Information on Fees and Financial Help
Depending on your age, course, educational history and personal circumstances, there may be options available for you to receive a course fully-funded by the government. Our fee calculator will help give you an idea on whether you'll be able to have your course fee waived or covered by an Advanced Learner Loan.
If you are aged 19 - 24 at the start of your course and have an active Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP), any course up to and including level 3 will be fully-funded by the government. This means you will not have a course fee to pay and any equipment considered essential to complete your course will be provided by the college.
Gateway Certificate in Art & Design
Assessment is ongoing and consistent throughout the year.
Evidence is collated via an initial screening process and then regularly with LEARN.
