School Leaver / 16 - 18 yr Old Vocational CoursesThe Bluebird Programme offers our autistic students the opportunity to develop the confidence, communication, life skills and experience required to progress onto further study options at the college, to begin to consider a future in employment or independent living.
Our college provides a safe and supportive environment and specialist facilities such as exclusive access to the Haven, a unique quiet space staffed by specialists, ensuring a secure environment throughout the college day.
In addition to mandatory subjects aimed at fostering essential life, academic and vocational skills, you will have the opportunity to select from a range of optional subjects, so you can grow your skill set and knowledge.
You will have the opportunity to work with Course Leaders and a Job Coach to volunteer and to undertake individual work experience, as appropriate.

We aim to foster social outcomes that promote independence and self-reliance, alongside educational achievements tailored to your individual abilities.
Initially, you will be assessed on an individual basis by your tutors. Subject specific targets will be agreed with you according to your own individual needs.
