School Leaver / 16 - 18 yr Old Vocational CoursesIf you're thinking of a career in the digital sector, with a focus on digital infrastructure, this is the course for you.
The course provides a mixture of technical knowledge and skills specific to the computing industry and a work placement of at least 45 days in your chosen occupation. On completion of the course you will be able to choose between moving into a skilled occupation or further study in computing, for example, a higher or degree level apprenticeship, or higher level technical study, including higher education.
The course covers a wide range of topics including problem solving, programming using languages such as python, security and encryption and networking.

A big part of your study will be to complete relevant industry-based work placement. Throughout the course, you'll be required to complete a minimum of 45 days (315 hours) work placement. You'll also get the opportunity to show us what you've learned and demonstrate your abilities during numerous observations through the course. Work placement is a great opportunity to get your feet wet in your chosen specialism and help confirm that this is the career you want to do!

T Level Technical Qualification in Digital Support Services (Level 3) (delivered by NCFE) (qualification aim: 60369012)
You will have two written examinations and employer set project to complete. You will also have an assignment on your occupational specialism.
The number of UCAS tariff points for a T Level diploma varies between 72 and 168 points, depending on your grade for the core content and the specialism. We've included some examples below of what grades you need to achieve common UCAS tariff point entry requirements:
