This qualification requires learners to complete a mandatory work/industry placement experience throughout the duration of the qualification, before certification.

Learners must complete all 10 mandatory units - 95 credits

You must be 19 yrs old in the previous academic year to access this course.

You must have recent, relevant experience within this sector at level 2 and/or hold a level 2 Early Years qualification to enrol on this course.

You must be in a paid or voluntary role in a suitable workplace setting, carrying out supervisory tasks. This should be for a minimum of 10 hrs per week.

You should ideally hold a GCSE grade 4 or above or a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in English. An assessment may be carried out to determine suitability if you do not have this.

You must meet certain eligibility requirements to be funded for this qualification. You can obtain funding through the Adult Skills Fund, or you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan. More details can be provided on application.

This is a work-based qualification with online delivery of training in small cohort groups
