It's really important that you complete your enrolment on the student portal and book a time to come into the college to collect your ID card and lanyard.
There's a few things you'll need to consider between accepting your offer and starting your course. This page has everything you need to know!
If you don't achieve a 4 or above in English and / or Maths, you will continue to study the subjects with us at CWA.
If you haven't lived in the UK for the last three years, you might not be funded to study at CWA.
The college operates a financial support scheme which can help students whose financial circumstances make it difficult for them to meet the costs associated with study.
All students aged 16-18 on the first day of their course will have their course fully-funded by the government (i.e. there is no course fee). Depending on the course, there may be additional costs such as equipment/uniform, printing and educational trips.
Now that you’ve completed your application, you’ll shortly hear from us to book an information session for your course.
Are you aged 19 or older* and thinking about further education? With an Advanced Learner Loan, there are no upfront costs and you won't start to pay anything back until you earn at least £27,295 a year.
For some of our courses, it is necessary to have relevant equipment or clothing (e.g. protective clothing), whilst for some others, we offer optional college-branded clothing.
We are working with Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) and local bus providers to subsidise the cost of transport to help widen the options for young people in Fenland and help remove the financial barrier for parents / guardians.
It’s easy to get to and from college, as all four of our campuses are well-serviced by local bus services, with King’s Lynn campus also being a short walk from the train station. We also have limited car parking and bicycle shelters on each site.
For our students to succeed at college and prepare themselves for their chosen careers, it is vital for them to have opportunities for meaningful work experience and to learn from a variety of employers. There are lots of ways that employers can support us to deliver this.
Our aim is to support our students to further develop their learning and employability skills and abilities to enable them to make informed decisions about their future education, training, and employment.
Our vision of “Changing Lives through learning” is achieved by providing high quality teaching and learning. We aim to raise the aspirations of our students through the experiences they gain by studying at CWA. This includes their main study programme, tutorial, enrichment and work experience placements.
