Are you interested in taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award? Anyone between 14-24 can register for the award as long as you are a student with CWA
You can start at any level (Bronze, Silver or Gold). All you need is to be able to give up a little time. The Bronze award mainly requires 3 months except for one activity which will require 6 months.
This price is based on the enrolment. It covers you for all elements of the award with exception to the expedition. The expedition will be delivered by CWA staff (based on a minimum of 4 participants) and will require an additional payment to cover costs (transport, camping fees). The price will be based on participant numbers and will be made available to book at a later date.
LSF funded learners are eligible to have their fee reimbursed by our student services team.
Please be advised that students are able to borrow, free of charge, the following more expensive expedition kit as part of these enrolment fees:
- Tent
- Sleeping bag
- Large Rucksack
- Gas cooker (gas not provided)
- Camping mat
- Navigation compass and maps
