Fundamentals of Music Theory and Reading Sheet Music: Starting with the basics of music theory, including pitch, rhythm, melody, and harmony. Students will learn how to read sheet music, focusing on the staff, clefs, and note names. Learners will use simple songs and worksheets for practice.
This course will start on Thursday 21st January 2027 and will take place at King's Lynn campus from 5:30PM-7PM for 6 weeks.

Build on basic music knowledge by introducing keys and simple scales, focusing on major scales such as C, G, and F major. Teach students about key signatures and how they relate to scales, as well as the concept of whole and half steps. Encouraged practice through scale exercises, simple melodies in different keys, and listening activities to recognise changes in pitch and tonality.
This course will start on Thursday 15th April 2027 and will take place at King's Lynn campus from 5:30PM-7PM for 6 weeks.
