I knew I wanted to become a health professional to help improve individuals’ lives, for those that may be recovering from an illness or an accident, or need help to manage a long-term illness.
I looked at studying health and social care at other colleges. However, I found that CWA would be the one that would benefit me more. Other colleges didn’t stand out as much as CWA and I found that this course sounded more interesting. I have also made some amazing friends and it is nice to have the same interests as them.
I have learnt a lot during my time at CWA. I found learning about clinical skills enjoyable and found the dementia unit interesting. My course has enabled me to see how many careers you can go into with a health and social care qualification.
I hope to go to university to study adult nursing.
