I knew I wanted a full-time apprenticeship that would allow me to gain experience and get the career I want.
I chose to come to CWA as it helps prepare you for work as well as having more freedom. I enjoyed the practical side of the course; general construction skills, such as learning to mix concrete and lay drainage. Then the theory side of the course is looking at Health and Safety. I enjoyed mixing concrete as it’s physical work and I was able to work outside.
This course gave me the opportunity to have an interview with my current employer.
I have now started my apprenticeship with Barhale Ltd, part of the Anglian Water: @One Alliance partnership.
