Jamie is studying a Level 3 Engineering Standard Metal Fabrication apprenticeship. He secured his apprenticeship after completing work experience at Bunnings, where he asked about progression opportunities within the company. His training focuses on practical metalwork, including welding and fabrication. He plans to continue working at Bunnings once he completes his apprenticeship.

‘One benefit of doing an apprenticeship is that it lets me earn while I learn, especially in a job I enjoy. I chose this route because I’m more hands-on and prefer practical work to being in a classroom.’
