It’s no surprise that England’s capital would feature somewhere on this list. In the latest construction report by the
Office for National Statistics , it was found that 14% of all construction employees, and 16% of construction firms, in Great Britain are based in London. Galliford Try, Laing O’Rourke, Morgan Sindall and Balfour Beatty are just a few of the companies who centralise their operations in the city.
