After completing my A-Levels at Springwood High School, I had offers to study BSc Biomedical Science degree from Brighton, Canterbury Christchurch and Anglian Ruskin University. However, when comparing the courses, I found that there was very little difference between UcWA and ARU. As I was a resident in King’s Lynn, I was quite fascinated that I could earn the ARU’s degree whilst studying at UcWA. This made economic sense to study at King’s Lynn as I saved myself from the impact of expense of living and travelling.
The library that is based on site has well stocked resources and scholarly access was encouraged. Staff were also supportive and friendly. I have very pleasant memories of my student life at UcWA. I highly appreciate the problem solving and troubleshooting attitude of Louise and Ritchie, who supported me whenever I needed it.
I am going to pursue MSc in Biochemical Engineering at Sheffield University as I aspire to work in the pharmaceutical/ biotech industry. I would like to attain the status of chartered chemical engineer whilst utilising the key skills and conceptual knowledge gained in my degree.
