Tuition Fees
Our current course fees for courses starting in 2024 / 2025 are:
Anglia Ruskin UniversityWe offer full-time courses which are either validated or accredited by Anglia Ruskin University. All of these courses are full-time.
Our full-time tuition fee is £9,000 for the 2024 / 2025 academic year. |
The Open UniversityWe offer full-time Diploma of Higher Education courses with The Open University. These courses are classed as full-time.
Our tuition fee for our collaboative partnership courses is £7,272 per academic year. |
Part-time degreesWe currently offer part-time education degrees accredited by University of Huddersfield.
Our tuition fee for these courses is £3,775 for the 2024 / 2025 academic year. |
HNC coursesWe offer HNC courses in Engineering which are delivered part-time over two years.
Our course fee for the whole HNC qualification is £7,000. |
We set our course fees annually. As students pay a fee for each year of their course, the fees set for future academic years may be higher than those set in the 2024 / 2025 academic year (excluding HNC courses, where the whole fee is set prior).
For each future academic year of your course of study, your fees may be subject to review and increase on a basis in line with the Retail Prices Index (RPI) plus 3%. RPI is a measure of inflation published monthly by the Office for National Statistics which measures the changes from month to month in the cost of a representative sample of retail goods and services bought by consumers within the UK. This means that your course fees will not be increased each year by more than RPI + 3% from the previous year’s fees and will not ever exceed the maximum amount that the government allows higher education institutions to charge students in the related academic year.
Student Finance
All student finance applications are made to our partnership universities (Anglia Ruskin University for full-time degrees and University of Huddersfield for part-time education and teaching degrees). Our HNC courses are not eligible for student finance.

The tuition fee loan covers your tuition fees. It is paid directly to the university centre each year of study. You can find full details on how to apply for student finance here.
Maintenance Loan
The maintenance loan helps with living costs and is paid into your bank account at the start of each term. The amount you can borrow depends on your circumstances – you can complete the student finance calculator on the Student Finance website to estimate your maintenance loan. You can find full details on how to apply for student finance here.
Part-time courses
You may be able to receive a tuition fee loan if your part-time course has a ‘course intensity’ of 25% or more. ‘Course intensity’ measures how much of your course you complete each year, compared to an equivalent full-time course. For further details, please see the student finance website here.
Higher National Certificate courses
